Tiger Airways Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Resources and Planning Manager to join the Operations Team.

The purpose of this position is to support the Tiger Airways Australia operation and to be responsible for assuring the day to day planning of the daily flying schedule.

Reporting to the Head of Logistics the responsibilities of the Resources and Planning Manager include:

• Manage the production of pilot and cabin crew rosters.
• Headcount planning and forecasting.
• Management of training courses and simulator planning.
• Optimisation use of crew resources.
• Liaison with operations and crewing IT system provider and optimising the use of the system within the company.
• Post operations crew usage analysis.
• Roster production in the absence of the rostering officer.
• Sharing in out of hours OCC support.

Skills and attributes of the Resources and Planning Manager include:

• 3 years' experience in an airline operations/planning and/or crewing management.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Experience in the use of the Geneva system will be advantageous.
• Bachelor Degree will be highly recommended.

The Resources and Planning Manager will have a professional manner who can liaise at all levels. The role entails quick thinking with cost effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
