Australian-based Tiger Airways is hunting for an experienced Operations Controller (Duty Operations/Crewing) to join our team working within the Operations Control Centre at Melbourne Airport. The Operations Control Centre is the heart beat of the airline and manages the daily operating requirements of the Tiger Airways fleet and crews. If you have previously worked in Airline Operations or Ground Handling and would like to join in the growth of an innovative company, we want to hear from you!

Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring and updating daily aircraft movements.
  • Liaising with Ground Handlers to ensure minimal disruption to the daily operation.
  • Effectively manage disruption recovery options.
  • Ensure all flights are efficiently crewed for the day of operation.
  • Ensure crew flight and duty limitations are effectively managed in accordance with CASA and company regulations.
Applicants should fulfill the following requirements:
  • Possess the ability to think laterally.
  • A pro-active and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently within a fast paced environment.
  • 1-2 years aviation experience with preference to Airline/Ground Handling.
  • Be available to work a 24-hour, 7-day rotating roster (including weekends and public holidays) as the role possesses 12-hour shifts.
