QUALITY AUDITOR

Tiger Airways Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join the quality team.
The purpose of this position is to provide timely and effective information regarding quality assurance of the company operations.
Reporting to the Head of Quality, responsibilities include:
- Conduct scheduled audits of internal operational departments and external service provides.
- Investigate other operational functions as directed by the Head of Quality.
- Prepare audit and other reports in support of company quality assurance activities.
- Review, monitor and advise of the suitability of Corrective Action Plans.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of completed Corrective actions.
- Develop tailored audit checklists which incorporate regulatory and company requirements and which recognise industry best practices.
- Review and assist in the updating and publication of the QA Manual and associated documentation in coordination with the Head of Quality.
- Maintain working knowledge of current and proposed relevant legislation.
- Assist operational departments and service providers understand their responsibilities under the QA program.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities on QA matters in absence of the Head of Quality.
- Continually develop and improve the QA program in conjunction with the Head of Quality consistent with company goals.
- Actively implement and support the Tiger Airways Australia Safety Management System.
Required:
- Quality Management System Lead Auditor.
- Operational experience in conducting aviation quality/safety audits.
- Sound knowledge of aviation regulations and their application.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills with an analytical approach to problem solving.
- Above average interpersonal, time management and IT skills.
- Tertiary qualification in an aviation discipline.
- Operational experience in flight operations, engineering or other relevant area.
- Familiarity with AQD system.
