CONTRACTS ENGINEER

DEPARTMENT : PROJECT
LOCATION : JAKARTA

PURPOSE OF JOB :

• Manages commercial aspects of the project and especially the construction contracts.

DUTIES

1. Monitors information flow to and from the Contractor, acting as the main conduit for this and ensuring timely responses from the Company.
2. Reviews Contractor's monthly and final statements and prepares payment certificates for approval.
3. Prepares taking over and final certificates for approval.
4. Monitors all Contractor claims and prepares responses to the same.
5. Monitors requirements for project activities under the financing agreements and prepares draft documentation for the same
6. Assists in the preparation of Project monthly reports.

REQUIREMENTS

Education :

• Relevant tertiary qualification in quantity surveying or engineering.

Experience :

• Engineering professional with over 10 years experience in similar functions with major construction projects.

Skills :

• Good organizational and communication skills essential.

Others :

• Familiarity with FIDIC type contracts, knowledge of engineering processes, technology, equipment, vendors and manufacturers.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
