Permata Energy Resources is a leading privately owned coal producer in Sumatera and an emerging producer in Kalimantan. Permata Energy Resources is particularly active in the acquisition, exploration and development of coal mines and coal infrastructure in Indonesia.

Career Program Permata Energy Resources February 2013Currently Permata Energy Resources is the holding company of amongst others, PT. Riau Baraharum (RBH) and PT. Nusantara Termal Coal (NTC). Both RBH and NTC are CCOW companies with operating licenses until 2035 and 2036 respectively. RBH’s mine location is at Indragiri-Hulu, Riau province and has been in production since 2005. NTC’s mine is at Muara Bungo, Jambi province and has been in production since 2007. Both mines produce coal quality in the range of GAR 5,200 to 5,500.

Permata Energy Resources is also able to source coal from its own mines and also purchase coal from third parties for sale and export to emerging markets in Asia including China, India, South East Asia, Japan and Korea. Permata Energy Resources sells its Coal under the trading name of PERMATA COAL.

Currently, we are looking for young, energetic and dynamic professional candidates to join our team as position below:

Enviro Supervisor (ES-PET)
Applying good mining practices in enviro aspec

Requirements:
  1. Minimum 1 year experience in same field (especially in coal mining industry)
  2. Bachelor Degree from Environmental Engineering
  3. Basic software skills in areas
  4. Knowing well about Peraturan Perundang-undangan Lingkungan Hidup
  5. Having experience in handling Acid Mine Drainage (Air Asam Tambang)
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Exploration & Drilling Supervisor (EDS-PET)

Responsibilities:
  • Supervising the day-to-day operations of the drilling unit, ensure its safe operation within regulatory, environmental, and engineering/operational requirements
  • Daily monitoring for drilling progress
  • Documentation and reporting daily, weekly & monthly drilling to Drilling Manager
  • Government Relationship with ESDM & Foresty Minister or other
Requirements:
  1. Minimum two (2) years of experience in geologist (especially in coal mining)
  2. Graduate geology from a reputable university
  3. Basic software skills in areas (Ms. Office, Minescape, Mapinfo)
  4. Initiative in all aspects of the profession
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Sound written and oral communication skills with ability to liaise with all levels of management and staff

HSE Supervisor (HSES-5-JS)
Work location: Sumatra and Kalimantan

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, control and monitor the implementation of safety procedures and regulations in daily project activities in order to achieve compliance with company health, safety and environment policy and guidelines
  • Responsible in supervising and administer the implementation process of Health, Safety & Environment activities in surrounding operation of work area to create alertness and optimally maintain skills of HSE
  • Conduct environment manage and monitoring to fulfill environment quality standard that has been required
  • Creating a mindset environment and culture of Zero Harm through health and safety communications and leadership
  • Develop and maintain an audit function to measure, report and recommend with regards to OH&S and continuous improvement
Requirements:
  1. Male Age max 35 Years Old
  2. Min. 1 year experience in HSE
  3. Min. Bachelor degree in any major, preferably from Occupational Health and Safety or extensive related field experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  4. Able to analyze safety & mine equipment availability, prepare ANDAL Report
  5. Possess HSE Certificate
  6. Certified in OSHA
  7. Ready to face high pressure jobs, strong analytical skills, with a focus on Continuous

Logistic Supervisor (LS-PET)

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and complete accurate billing to clients based on pricing established with the clients while ensuring accurate costs and profits are maintained.
  • Controlling kavling traffic daily
  • Final Reporting logistic (Reconcile with site)
  • Daily updates loading/shipment at all port
  • Demm & Disp calculation
  • Coal loading control
Requirements:
  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor”s Degree, Logistic/Transportation, Maritime Studies or equivalent with minimum GPA 3.00
  2. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  3. Preferably Supervisor / Coordinators specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
  4. Full-Time position(s) available.

Mine Engineer (ME-PET)

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all mine planning comply with government regulation, standard operation procedure, geo technical recommendation, safety requirement and other relevant technical recommendation
  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly mining targets (OB removal, water removal, coal production)
  • Work with Senior Mining Engineer to develop Monthly plan, weekly plan and daily plan
  • Ability to prepare report and document to be submitted to the Mining Department.
  • Ability to welcome and give site tours to various department visitors.
  • Well versed in mine planning, including haul roads, pit design OB distance, etc.
  • Report to Senior Mining Engineer at the side area.
  • Monitoring and improve implementation of daily plan, weekly plan and monthly plan
  • Conduct daily pit and safety monitoring
  • Provide data for RKAB, RKTTL and other government requirement
Requirements:
  1. Male and S1 from faculty of Mining Engineering
  2. Min. 2 years of experience in the mining industry (especially in coal mining)
  3. Capable of using computer programs such as Ms. Office, Minescape, Xpac, Minex
  4. Familiar with heavy equipment & coal mining operation
  5. Analytical thinking, highly pro-active, supportive and self motivated
  6. Ability to communicate in English

Mine Operation Administration (MOA-PET)

Responsibilities:
  • Report all mine operation data to
  • Documentation and reporting daily, weekly & monthly operation all site
  • Filling document report from operational activity
Requirements:
  1. Male/Female with maximum 30 years old
  2. Minimum one (1) years of experience in Mine Operational Database (especially in coal mining)
  3. Graduate Geology / Mine Engineering from a reputable University
  4. Basic software skills in areas (Ms. Office, Minescape, Mapinfo, Mapsource)
  5. Initiative in all aspects of the profession
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Sound written and oral communication skills with ability to liaise with all levels of management and staff
