Sales Manager – Indonesia
Work Location: Cilandak office in Jakarta
PURPOSE OF JOB
- Market, promote and generate sales of Hallin’s products and services to customers within Indonesia.
- Promoting the awareness of the Hallin Group and building long term relationships with Indonesian oil companies, in particular Pertamina, and prime contractors as required;
- Identifying opportunities with customers based in Jakarta and elsewhere in Indonesia;
- Monitoring O&G media for suitable business opportunities;
- Attending conventions and conferences in Indonesia and elsewhere as required;
- Ensuring that Hallin is included on all relevant bid lists for specific projects and Master service Agreements with the Oil Majors and Level 1 contractors;
- Overseeing the preparation of pre-qualification submissions with the help of the East Division Commercial Department in Singapore;
- Attending Client pre-bid meetings and clarifying Client’s enquiries to enable the Commercial Departments to have sufficient information to enable them to bid the work;
- Assisting with the tender process including the preparation of costing spreadsheets, the completion of pricing formats, and the preparation of proposal documents;
- Attending bid opening meetings, and following-up with Clients on submitted bids and ensuring that clarifications are responded to;
- Participating in Client negotiations;
- Liaising closely with other Superior Group companies to promote a joined up approach for Key Accounts, in particular Pertamina;
- Providing weekly reports and data input into the Hallin CRM system as required;
- Travelling overseas as required;
- Appropriate technical qualifications in fields relevant to Hallin Marine;
- At least three years’ experience in a similar sales and marketing role in the O&G subsea services market;
- Able to demonstrate a track record of sales success and network building within the Indonesian O&G industry;
- good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Able to understand technical drawings;
- Confident at using MS Office software;
- Fluent in English and Bahasa in speech and writing;
- Self-starter, able to work alone;
- Indonesian National preferred
