SITE SAFETY OFFICER

DEPARTMENT : SAFETY, HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT
LOCATION : PROJECT SITE - Muara Laboh / PROJECT SITE - Rajabasa / PROJECT SITE - Rantau Dedap

PURPOSE OF JOB :

• Manages the safety compliance program at the project site and is responsible for its day-to-day implementation to ensure Company’s safety standards are maintained.

DUTIES

1. Set up, improve, maintain and monitor SHE policy, program and procedures, and ensure its compliance with related Indonesia’s regulations and Company’s / international SHE guidelines.
2. Establish and conduct HIRA, JSA and critical task analysis.
3. Prepare and deliver SHE advice and education to company and 3rd party personnel.
4. Establish and conduct Accident and Incident Investigation and Reporting for acceptable corrective actions, resolution of SHE problems and implementation of preventative measures.
5. Chair weekly / monthly safety meetings and deliver relevant and appropriate report.
6. Develop and update Company Emergency Response Plan, including coordination with relevant departments and medical organizations in terms of yearly emergency drill.
7. Review and endorse EPC contractor’s site SHE plans.
8. Control and update licenses regarding to SHE.
9. Carry out internal SHE site inspection and audit in accordance with relevant standards, specifications, policies and procedures.
10. Assist the Management in External Affairs functions.

REQUIREMENTS

Education :

• Bachelor degree in Safety study or Engineering

Experience :

• Senior staff specializing in SHE. Experience in establishing and implementing safety standards / codes / guidances related to major geothermal construction, exploration drilling and operation.

Skills :

• Good leadership, teamwork, communication and problem solving skills required.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Mature, analytical and eye for details.

Certification :

• Preferably certified in basic occupational health and safety (NEBOSH/SMK3, etc)

Others :

• Familiar with OHSAS 18001 OHSMS.
• Proficient in English language both verbal and written.
• MS Office literacy.
• Willing to be stationed on project site.
