Senior Integration Specialist
Required experience:
Experience in the implementation and production support of enterprise integration brokers or middleware and must have experience in Java and J2EE/JEE development.
The incumbent will play a key role in the integration of Telkom's software systems. This is a senior technical position within the integration team that requires exceptional technical design and implementation skills using various middleware tools and technologies, combined with the ability to communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:

- design and implement integration solutions
- analyse business requirements and translate them into tangible system integration requirements
- ensure requirements, scope and constraints for system integration implementations are correctly aligned with Enterprise Architecture's integration s
- communicate effectively with various cross-functional teams, external business partners and independent vendors
- define and utilize frameworks within which functional and non-functional requirements can be verified, and within which quality can be measured
- define, maintain, communicate and encourage technology and development standards, naming conventions and best practices for all solutions within the
- Identify and drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency within the team
- provide insight and recommendations to stakeholders regarding the concepts, risks and techniques of integration within our environment
- database design, implementation and tuning
- test frameworks that support test-driven development
- web services and related standards, including XML, SOAP, WSDL and WS-*
- Java and JEE development (Weblogic platform preferred)
- implementation and production support of medium to large scale enterprise integration broker or enterprise service bus, using industry-standard midd
- software configuration and change management best practices and tools
- Windows and UNIX-like operating systems
