Financial Analyst

Job Description

Mission Statement:
  • Financial analyst is responsible for the products that are financially flowing through APO AG.
  • This includes TPM variance reporting, follow up of product flows, price management (standard price, transfer price) and inventory reporting (schedule F, Monthly report, accruals related to shelf-life,) and D.5.6 (sales) reporting review.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
  1. set up standard prices coming from manufacturing sites (transfer prices) or third party suppliers (purchase prices, tolling yields).
  2. control of Transfer prices (supplied by the Transfer price in Chicago) to the affiliates
  3. responsible for maintaining the prices (inbound and outbound) in SAPHEGA and pricing templates from Chicago (CCS file).
  4. control the consistency of the master data in SAPHEGA (controlling and accounting views)
  5. Follow up of regular price adjustment with third parties in cooperation with APO controlling
  6. Follow up goods in transit for month end closing.
  7. Main contact of the TCGM team - support and follow up of TCGM questions.
  8. Control of inventory including monthly reporting (monthly inventory report, Schedule F, D37, flash comments on balance sheet, TPM variances) including accruals for shelf-life / quality issues.
  9. Review monthly D.5.6 sales reporting for accuracy and completeness
Skills/Experience Requirements Skills:
  • Knowledge in Finance & Accounting
  • Knowledge on transfer prices
  • Analytical skills related to variance reporting (analysis of TPM results)
  • Knowledge of SAP (MM, SD, FI / CO)
  • Good communication skills
Experience:
  • 3 – 5 years
Languages:
  • English – good knowledge (written and spoken)
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor`s degree (or comparable degree) preferable in Finance/Accounting related discipline
