Finance Manager and Supply Chain

Job Description

• Responsible for consolidation of Plans, Updates, LBE, LRP and month end financial results for the Global Purchasing and Business Operations functions within Supply Chain.
• This role will be a key business partner with the Business Operations group including Third Party Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Global Production Planning and the Commercial Liaison group.
• Responsible for alignment of production volumes across multiple functional areas.
• Provide ad hoc analysis on key strategic initiatives and communicate recommendations in clear, concise manner.
• This role provides an excellent opportunity for U.S. and International Supply Chain experience.

Major Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and support the month end close for Global Purchasing and Business Operations including preparation of management reporting packages with clear, concise and effective commentary and facilitation of monthly review meetings.
2. Financial responsibility for Global Third Party Manufacturing Project Expense, Lake County-based Business Ops. Admin departments and Strategic Sourcing.
3. Prepare Plan, Update, LBE and LRP schedules meeting published deadlines including presentation materials for management reviews.
4. Provide financial support, guidance and insights to Business Operations managers, Directors and DVP related to financial results and forecasts.
5. Point person for volume alignment across Supply Chain and Commercial functional areas during planning cycles.
6. Provide ad hoc analysis including new product costing, what-if scenarios and assessment of other strategic initiatives.
7. Finance lead for Global Purchasing and Business Operations regarding new system implementations and process changes.

Skills/Experience Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of Finance/Accounting experience.
• Previous Manufacturing/Cost Accounting experience is preferred.
• Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals across all functions and at all levels of the organization.
• This position will interface on a regular basis with Directors, Controllers and Division VP’s.
• The individual must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, along with a proven track record of meeting deliverables.
• Must have strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles and apply this knowledge to support business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• MBA/CPA/CMA is a plus, but not required.
