In Telkom SA Limited is currently available positions as:

Controller & Managed Customer Network Service

Required qualification and experience: A relevant 3 year Diploma (NQF level 5) OR grade 12 and modular training, and at least one year experience as a Call Centre agent working with Cisco routers.

Special requirements:

Willing to work shifts and overtime.

The incumbent will be responsible to pro-actively surveil assigned customer and core networks, assuring network availability and performance, service levels and service quality on a day to day basis. Record network incidents/faults and take corrective actions where necessary.

Experience
  • monitoring computer hardware performance and diagnosis of faults
  • assisting users connected to in-house networks (LAN) to mainframes and internet
  • providing a customer information service
Knowledge
  • industry trends in telecommunications
  • telecommunications networks and associated broadcasting equipment
  • the information technology industry
