The Indonesian factory is built on 60 acres of land and its factory become the 5th biggest tire manufacturer in the world. The investment value of Hankook Cikarang factory amounted to Rp11 trillion and for the first production phase, Hankook Indonesia will focus on producing Passenger Car Tyre premium segments or premium tires for passenger cars. Hankook intends to start production at the rate of 1 million units in the first year, and then rise to 4.5 million units next year.
