Senior Engineer / Engineer (Structural)
The Senior Structural Engineer will be supporting EPCIC project team for the design and fabrication of offshore structures especially oil and gas facilities.
Requirements:
- Structural engineering activities at various stage of design & construction, such as concept, feasibility, detailed design and construction of fixed offshore structures including topside, jacket, bridge and living quarter
- Able to carry out or provide technical support for construction engineering such as temporary supports for construction, onshore/near-shore lifting operation for equipments or modules, loadout engineering, sea fastening design, etc
- Preparing procedures for above construction activities
- Establish and take the lead on the as-built weight control management and material take-off
- Interface with Offshore installation Contractor for Transportation and Installation Engineering and operations
- Interface with specialist contractor for loadout, weighing , etc
- Review of engineering documents/drawings from external consultant, specialist, vendors
- 5-10 years experience in structural/engineering/management. Those with background on oil & gas structures/platforms multidiscipline design and construction preferred
- Degree in naval/mechanical/civil/structural engineering preferred
- Excellent communication/reporting/written skills and ability to work with different disciplines and cultures; Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards such as API, DNV, Noble Denton, Norsok
- Offshore platform design experiencevSoftware knowledge with SACS/STAADPRO/ FEMAP/SESAME
- Knowledge in Offshore Transportation and Installation will be advantages

Requirements:
- Develop, review & maintain all engineering standards and specifications relating to piping for the project
- Provide direction and advice on all aspects regarding the provincial regulations for pressure piping design, inspection and fabrication
- Review and prepare piping material specifications for the project
- Provide direct management to project teams to ensure that the discipline project engineering is integrated with all other engineering sections and section deliverables are integrated to meet procurement and construction schedule
- Review and update all pressure piping systems in accordance with the provincial legislation
- Conduct piping flexibility, stress checking and pipe support design
- Develop, monitor and maintain records as required to support piping reliability and integrity programs, including the development of corrosion/erosion maps and programs
- Responsible for the design and management of piping/valves on projects
- Assist with the review of various drawings namely valves, speciality items and equipment drawings
Qualification :
- At least 10 years piping design engineering experience in oil & gas industry. Those with experience in topside design with offshore platforms and or SPAR topside facility preferred
- Degree in Engineering
- Knowledge of intermediate MS Office as well as PDMS
- Experience in the preparation of design and drafting activities for FPSO, EPC and LQ projects.
The Supervisor (Painting) will be responsible for preparing coating procedure based on project's specification.
Responsibilities:
- Execute work as per approved procedures and specification and in compliance with safety rules and regulations
- Supervise workforce to ensure quality output and that the tasks assigned are completed on schedule
- Provide input to Construction Manager on technical issues
- Conduct daily tool box briefing, and participate PSCC meetings
- Ensure that all blasting and painting activities carried out by sub-contractors are done according to the required specification
- Expedition of blasting and painting of fabricated spools, pipelines and steel structures as per specifications
- Carry out inspection and ensure that all requirements are in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plan
- Coordinate with QC team and client representative for inspection and clearance
- Monitor blasting and painting activities and the systems for compliance with established QA plan
- Review requirements, specifications and references and plan activities based on schedules.
- At least 3 years relevant experience in construction of oil & gas industry
- Relevant Trade Certificate; those with NACE certification preferred
- Singaporeans/SPR and those who can commence work immediately preferred
The PDMS Designer will be responsible for the preparation of the design and PDMS 3D modelling of instrument layout (panels, cabinets, MCTs, penetrations etc) and routing (ladders, cables etc) and installation details for our company's ongoing and new projects. He/she will use design tools software such as PDMS and AutoCAD to accomplish assigned tasks with design quality within allotted schedule and budgeted hours.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Prepare all instrument drawings based on project specifications i.e. instrument JB wiring, cable selection, cable schedule, layouts (eg cable routing, instrument/F&G layouts, MCT, hook-ups, loop drawings) and ensure that all work output are in line with project schedule
- Check instrument/F&G bulk MTO prepared by designer/drafter
- Input of design drawings into PDMS for clash checking and presentation to clients
- Provide technical support service and solution daily to PMT to achieve the desired quality, within schedule
- Assist Engineer to prepare MTO of tag instruments from Bid P&Ids
- Assist Engineer to send enquiries to vendors for compiling bid pricing for tag instruments and instrument bulk MTO if tag instrument data sheets are available
- Prepare instrument data sheet for bid based on Bid P&Ids
- Motivate designer and drafter to complete assigned work on time and correctly done in terms of technical requirement
- Site verification Engineering
- Diploma in Instrument Design Drafting
- 5 years design experience in offshore oil & gas industrial projects
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in 3D PDMS
- Must have practical knowledge of AutoCAD software and intools (SPI)
Responsibilities:
- Provide advice on equipment availability, sparing philosophies and standardization
- Lead the adoption, identification or creation of engineering standards for extensive equipment and machinery packages
- Assess the limitations and capabilities of industrial infrastructure for incorporation into the planning for development and in the process of risk mitigation
- Design packages for equipment such as ROTATING (process gas compressors, generators, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, blowers), STATIC (heat exchanges / pressures vessels, tanks, chemical injection package, filters etc) and Package equipment
- Prepare enquiry specifications, datasheets, technical requistitions for equipment and packagesm including inter-discipline coordination
- Attend FAT for equipment at vendor's shop
- Coordinate with construction team for installation of equipment
- Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in design, specification, sourcing and operational of mechanical equipment for offshore topside facilities
- Able to handle mechanical equipment and packages independently and must be familar with package items such as instrument air compressor, fired heater, flare, nitrogen generation etc
- Knowledge of international codes sucj as API/ASME/BS/ANSI/ISO/NFPA etc
- Proficient in design and modeling software such as PV Elite/Compress/Autocad etc
Responsibilities:
- Monitor monthly cost movement to identify irregularities and ensure consistency in reporting and submission of project cost review report
- Conduct periodic project cost audit review and report
- Prepare monthly audit schedules and project risk management report
- Ensure project cost reporting is in accordance with Accounting Policies
- Travel to Batam for routine project cost review when necessary
- Degree in Accounting / ACCA
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience, those with audit experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and qualification of welding procedures (WPS & PQR) in accordance to applicable international Codes, Client specifications and Contract drawings
- Co-ordinate of base material testing, procedure test coupons & welder test coupons (including transportation arrangements) testing in the lab
- Preparation, carry out, testing and review of production test coupons as per Client specification as and when required
- To brief the welders before shift starts for usage of machines & parameters. Train the welders and to arrange for their performance qualification test. Review of welder's weekly performance report and initiate corrective actions to improve their performance
- Supervise and monitor the welding activities to ensure better performance to maintain less defect rates and overall project schedule
- Associated in the preparation and review of welding sequence for critical structures to avoid distortion rectification
- Liaise with client and third party surveyors for acceptance of welding procedures, procedure qualification records, welder's records etc
- Development of new procedures and innovation methods to improve productivity & less weld repairs
- Diploma or Degree in Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in welding in the familiar capacity in fabrication of offshore industry
- Works well with all levels of staff, technically competent
- Good communication skills, cohesive and consistent manner the clients interact with everyday
