The Company was formed in 1913 and since 2005 operated as a part subsidiary company of PT Philip Morris Indonesia, part of Philip Morris International. The Company head office is located in Surabaya and operated representative office in Jakarta.

The Company operated 4 manufacturing plants in East Java (Surabaya, Pandaan, and Malang) and West Java (Karawang). The Company also supported by 65 marketing offices and 38 units of Cigarette Production Partners (Mitra Produksi Sigaret - MPS) in all over Indonesia. Based on HM Sampoerna Annual Report 2011, net sales (excluding excise duty) in 2011 increased by 19.0% to Rp 31.96 trillion. The company's net profit also rose 25.6% to Rp 8.06 trillion.

Production Trainee

Requirements:

• Min D3 majoring in Electrical / Industrial Instruments, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering (Program of study: Energy Conversion Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Industry); with GPA min 2.75
• Have experience min 1 year in electronics and machinery is a plus
• Computer literate min MS Office
• Willing to work in shifts with placement in Karawang or Bekasi
• Have not completed the selection process for the same position within a period of 1 year.
