The company was previously a family-owned company Sampoerna, but since May 2005 majority ownership changed hands to Philip Morris International, the world's largest tobacco companies from the United States, ending a family tradition for over 90 years.

HM Sampoerna are the maker of some of the most well-known kretek (clove) cigarette brands. We are an affiliate of Philip Morris International Inc., the world’s leading international tobacco company. At the end of 2011, Sampoerna and its subsidiaries employed approximately 27,000 employees. Sampoerna sells and distributes cigarettes through 65 offices in Indonesia Sampoerna and its subsidiaries employed approximately 28,300 people. As the inspiring local company, in May 2005 PT Philip Morris Indonesia, an affiliate of Philip Morris International, acquiring majority ownership of Sampoerna.

Realizing the need of employees to support the development of the business, currently HM Sampoerna open opportunities for the prospective candidate's positions as:

Cycle & Trade Communication Administrator
Work Location: Jakarta

Qualification:
  • The incumbents must hold Bachelor Degree/S1 from all education background, preferably from Graphic Design with minimum GPA 2.75
  • Minimum 1 year experience working as administrator in Marketing or Sales
  • Having good communication skill
  • Possess advance skill and experiences in using Ms Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access), Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator and Keynote
HR Info Analyst
Work Location: Surabaya

Qualification:
  • Hold a minimum Bachelor Degree/S1 majoring in Information System and/or Information Technology and/or equivalent educational background with minimum GPA 3.00
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English
  • Possess knowledge and skills in SQL Programming and MS-Excel Macro
  • Possess knowledge of Global ERP software and HR business processes is an advantage
  • Focus on details and accuracy in deliverable
  • Having the ability to analyze and solve problems, create project documentation such as functional specification and test plan, perform system test and user acceptance test
