SYSTEMS AND REPORTING ANALYST

Job Description

Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:
The primary role for this position is to support the US Contracts & Pricing organization in developing a strategic and systematic infrastructure. They will act as a catalyst for change and stimulate others to change based on business needs. They will initiate and implement process improvements across departments and work groups. Most importantly they will develop long-term solutions to today's problems. Solutions will be dynamic and systematic.

This individual will provide ad hoc analysis to support complex decision-making. Propose final recommendations to client. Recognize the financial implications of all management decisions.

This person will also serve as project lead for highly visible projects with significant business implications. To do so effectively this individual must understand interrelationships between functions and provide guidance for overall business decision-making. Operate independently in project management role with significant interface across functions, groups, or sites. Balance demands of variety customers with potentially conflicting goals and perform project management tasks.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and interpret Data; Recommend Options: Integrate multiple approaches to analyze data and procedures taking into account business considerations; develop recommendations and implements solutions.
2. Understand and identify team member needs and requirements; work collaboratively to both educate and learn from team members; utilize team members knowledge in resolving issues; recommend new approaches to meet team member needs.
3. Develop Goals and Execute Plans: Establish timelines to ensure key financial deadlines or project milestones are met on time and within budget. Prioritize and coordinate resources needed to accomplish objectives. Establish project performance standards and communicate expectations to group.

Accountability / Scope:

• This position will work closely with Contract Marketing, Finance, sales and IT at all levels.
• Influences and provides guidance for decision making within the team, management, and functional groups.
• Process improvements will result in a significant reduction in non value added work allowing the Contract Marketing team to allocate more time to sales support and compliance issues.
• Individual will be responsible for the systematic storage and reporting of data supporting approximately $180MM chargebacks and rebates annually.

Skills/Experience Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years related experience in finance, marketing or related area.
2. Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
3. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access.
4. Experience using SAP preferred.
5. Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities.
6. Accommodating changing priorities while maintaining overall workload is essential.
7. Proven financial/mathematical competence.
8. Interpersonal and written/oral communications are vital.
9. Strong Analytical, financial, and information systems skills are required.

Education Requirements

• B.S. Finance or Business or related discipline.
• MBA preferred, but not required.
