Senior Manager Purchasing
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership to our 2 purchasing teams and sourcing group
- Identify new suppliers, technologies and other opportunities
- Lead negotiations for price reductions with current vendor base
- Oversee the vendor selection process and ensure adequate vendor coverage for all materials types
- Oversee timely materials delivery and expedite if needed
- Remain up-to-date on market conditions including vendor base, their availabilities and requirements, as well as pricing and competitive alternatives
- Degree qualified
- At least 8 years experience in procurement preferably in consumer electronics
- In-depth knowledge of the China supply base
- The ability to lead and motivate a total staff of 50 people in a hard working but informal company culture
- Strong strategic thinking skill and shall have an achievement oriented and proactive mindset
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively & independently
