PT Pramindo Ikat Nusantara (Pins / Company) was established on October 17, 1995 with the purpose of organizing Cooperation Operations (KSO) in Sumatra and PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) to build a network of as many as 516 487 units of new wireline phone connection (SST). On April 19, 2002, Telkom acquired all shares of Pins. With fully under the control of Telkom, the management of Pins can be more integrated in accordance with Telkom's strategic plan in developing the network and telecommunications services in Indonesia. In the shade of Telkom Group, Pins continues to develop into one of the partners and network providers of telecommunications and informatics services, particularly in Sumatra.

Milestones of success has been achieved through the successful development Pins among other perform in support of Telkom in the provision of telecommunication facilities (Fastel) for the implementation of the responsibilities of public services (Universal Service Obligation / USO), Fastel to support the implementation of the general election based on the 386 radio technology village in Sumatra (2004), the provision and installation Fastel island Rondo - outer islands Aceh / Aceh (2008), the provision and distribution terminals throughout Indonesia Flexi telephone, modem distribution Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) to support service Telkom in Indonesia, as well as USO programs include the provision of Internet Service Center District (PLIK) in 1396 districts in the Sulawesi region, North Sumatra and NAD for the period 2010-2014.
