Golden Energy Mines is the coal mining group subsidiary of Dian Swastika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) - a Energy and Infrastructure company. Currently we supply 5 million tons of coal per annum to Coal Powerplants and Industries such as cement and paper both locally and internationally.

We mine coal from our many concessions, and at the same time also purchase from other mine owners. We aim to be a reputable leading coal company with good consistent standards. If you are a mine owner or coal end user, we are happy to hear your proposals.

PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS) is the owner and operator of 3 producing coal projects in Indonesia, namely Borneo Indobara (“BIB”), Kuansing Inti Makmur (“KIM”) and Trisula Kencana Sakti (“TKS”). The 3 projects are comprised of 8 coal concessions that span an area totaling approximately 36.000 hectares in South and Central Kalimantan and Sumatra.

The 3 projects together have been assessed to hold total Joint Ore Reserves Committee (“JORC”) resources in excess of 1.93 billion tons (“bt”) of thermal coal, of which approximately 849 million tons (“mt”) are proven and probable reserves as at 31st of March 2011.

Exploration Manager

Jobs Location: Kalimantan Tengah
Closing Date:30-12-11

Responsibilities:

• Able to make progress report on designated project
• Resource definition and estimation, including quality assurance and quality control procedures
• Research, review and assess geological and geophysical data in the planning, implementation and monitoring of exploration activities for company tenure areas; work closely with GM Exploration, Geologist, GIS and drilling team members to develop exploration targets
• Develop and maintain geological model for each exploration target area
• Preparation of technical reports for the various feasibility studies and quarterly statutory government reports

Requirements:

• Maximum 45 years old, Minimum bachelor degree from faculty of geology or mining engineering
• Minimum 5 (five) years experience, preferable in coal exploration
• Fluent in English both Oral and Written
• Knowledgeable in HSE, Amdal, Reclamation, Rehabilitation and CSR
• Good health and able to work under pressure, Good interpersonal and organizational skills, Highly self motivated and strong analytical skills
• Have a strong leadership skills, communicative, team player and having high integrity
• Willing to work in remote area, with rotation schedule

Pit Supervisor

Jobs Location: Jambi, Kalimantan Selatan

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, control and supervise the mining production resources to achieve the production targets and objectives of the project in accordance with the project parameters and guidelines.
• Supervise the performance of mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the mining operations in the shift by shift BMP process using short term variance.
• Identify the development and training needs of the mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the mining operations for the benefit of the Project Manager.
• Co-ordinate and supervise Mining production and other mining team to ensure smooth operations at loading points.
• Control production on an hour by hour basis and prepare timely and accurate reports on project progress as requires by the project.
• Assist Mining Superintendent in liaise and co-ordinate with maintenance departement to optimize and maximize mining equipment availability and utilization in achieving production target.
• Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during the operation phase of the work packages and implement all safety procedures, rules and regulations in accordance with the Safety Management Plan.

Requirements:

• Male, Minimum of Bachelor Degree in mining engineering/geology
• Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in coal mining industry
• Having POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certificate is preferable
• Well understanding about mining operation (facility / equipment / man power)
• Good knowledge about Safety/K3 procedure
• Able to make a plan and execution, including production mining analysis and cost
• Willing to be placed in site area : South Kalimantan or Jambi

Drill & Blast Supervisor

Jobs Location: Jambi

Responsibilities:

• Execute, monitor and control the drill and blast activities of the project in order to ensure that it is completed on time.
• Establish drill & blast design and drill & blast environment treatment plan.
• Ensure exploder is maintained to blasting standards of safety and reliable.
• Collect data of drilling and blasting include record details of drill pattern, location, hole location, blast time, explosive usage and blast result.
• Responsible for safety performance and conformance within the area of his control.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Mining engineering, Civil Engineering or Geologist with Second Class Blaster Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years experience in drilling & blasting, preferably as a supervisor.
• Understanding applications of drill blast design and shot plus software.
• Familiar with designing drill and blast, leading the team and explosives handling.
• Willing to work in site area : Jambi

Production Department Head

• Male, max 45 years old.
• Minimum S1 Degree in mining engineering.
• Minimum 7 years experience in mining industry with minimum 5 years in managerial level as Production Department Head.
• Computer Literate in using MS office and mining software such as: minescape, minex and surpac.
• Minimum POM certificate.
• Well understanding about mining operation (design, production, facility, equipment, man power).
• Good knowledge about HSE / K3 procedure.
• Able to maintain harmonious relationship with local and central government related to mining policies and procedures as well as CSR.

SHE Department Head

Requirements:

• Minimum S1 Degree in Environmental Engineer or K3
• Minimum 7 years experience in coal mining industry, with 2 Years experience as SHE Department Head
• Having POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certificate is preferable

• Good knowledge about Safety/K3 procedure and regulation, and environmental management

Surveyor

Recruitment Manager

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate to make sure recruitment service level can support three sites: Jakarta, Sumatra and Kalimantan (planning, sourcing, profiling, placement)
• Responsible for staff recruiting and selection process in order to fulfill manpower needs of each department in the strictest timely basis with high qualified employee
• Lead the recruitment activities and improve recruitment strategy and system which include to build SOP, recruitment flow, recruitment report and recruitment standard.
• Build up a candidate data bank to support a high quality results through HRIS
• Determine the psychological benchmark and interview competency benchmark for job grading in both holdings and site.
• Able to review KPIs subordinates and make a continuous improvements for the standards.

Requirements:

• Have an education background of bachelor degree in psychology, human resource or equivalent.
• Have an experience for 5 years in doing recruitment, 2 years in a managerial level.
• Able to do multitasking and work in a tremendous amount of target and pressure.
