FUNCTIONS OF THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL EDUCATION
(Article 435 Presidential Decree No. 24 of 2010)
Functions of the Ministry of National Education:
- The formulation, determination, and implementation of national policies in education;
- Management of property / wealth of the country are the responsibility of the Ministry of National Education;
- Monitoring the implementation of tasks within the Ministry of National Education;
- Implementation of technical guidance and supervision over the implementation of the affairs of the Ministry of National Education in the area; and
- Implementation of technical activities at the national scale.
- The implementation of the National Education Services to Establish a Prima Indonesia Insan Intelligent Comprehensive
- Availability - Increase AVAILABILITY education services. In an effort to provide infrastructure facilities and infra-structure of the education unit (school) and other support.
- Affordability - Affordability Extending educational services. Promote the need for education costs affordable by the community.
- Quality - Improve the QUALITY / Quality and relevance of education services. In an effort to achieve national standards of education quality in order to improve the quality and competitiveness of the nation.
- Equality - Creating Equality in obtaining educational services. Regardless of educational services between regions, tribes, religion, social status, state and private, as well as gender.
- Certainty Assurance - Assuring Certainty obtain educational services. Guarantees for graduate school to continue to pursue further education or obtain employment appropriate competence.
Some of the problems of education, especially in areas such as 3T is the problem of educators, such as a shortage of (Shortage), uneven distribution (Unbalanced distribution), qualified under the standards (under qualification), less competent (low competencies), as well as the mismatch between qualifications education with a field Amnestied (mismatched). Another problem in education is the school dropout rate is still relatively high, while school participation rates are still low.

- Providing service to the undergraduate educational experience, forming a professional attitude, love the country, defending the country, caring, empathy, skillful solve education problems, and are responsible for the progress of the nation, and has a soul ketahanmalangan in developing education in areas classified as 3T.
- Prepare prospective educators who have a soul keterpanggilan to devote himself as a professional educator in the area of 3T.
- Prepare candidates for professional educator before joining the Professional Teacher Education Program (PPG).
- Carry out the task of learning on the educational unit in accordance with their areas of expertise and the demands of local conditions.
- Encouraging learning innovation activities in schools.
- Perform extra-curricular activities.
- Assisting tasks associated with management of education in schools.
- Empower communities to support education development programs in the area 3T.
- Carry out social tasks.
Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional Policy in the acceleration of the development of education in the area of 3T, the Forward Together Feeding Program Indonesia. This program includes:
- Professional Teacher Education Program Integrated with Additional Authority (PPGT),
- Educate Graduate Program in Regional 3T (BC-3T),
- Field Work Experience Program in Area 3T-and PPGT (KKN-3T PPGT),
- Professional Teacher Education Program Program Integration Collaborative (Collaborative PPGT),
- S-1 Education Program with Additional Authority (S-1 KKT). These programs are the answer to overcome the various problems of education in the area of 3T.
Program SM - 3T is a Graduate Education Program Dedicated to participate in the accelerated development of education in the area of 3T for a year as the preparation of professional educators who will continue with the Professional Teacher Education Program.
General Requirements
- Bachelor Degree (S1) from education studies. Graduated past 4 years (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) from an accredited program study, and in accordance with the required subjects
- GPA min 2.75
- Health as evidenced by a medical certificate
- Free of narcotics, psychotropic and addictive substances (drugs) as evidenced by a letter from the authorized
- Have a good character as evidenced by a certificate from the police (SKCK)
- Not married and willing not married for the assignment.
- Have the motivation and high spirit of dedication
- Able to adapt to conditions in the 3T
- Preferred have experienced in student organizations
